DRF-NTRA NHC Qualifying Tournament

Join us on Saturday, October 30 for the second of two qualifying tournaments for the Daily Racing Form/NTRA National Handicapping Championship to be held January 28-29, 2011 at Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa in Las Vegas, NV.

The winner of this tournament will qualify for the National Championship. Airfare and hotel accommodations will be provided.

In addition to the qualifying spot, cash prizes will be awarded to the top ten finishers. All money received in entry fees will be returned to these prizewinners in the following manner:

1st Place - 50%
2nd Place - 20%
3rd Place - 10%
4th Place - 7%
5th Place - 3%
6th-10th Place - 2% each

The entry fee is $60 and includes a Daily Racing Form, a simulcast program and lunch (12:30-2:30).

The registration table opens at 11 a.m. on the day of the tournament. Registration will conclude when there are approximately five minutes to post for the first race of the tournament (around 3 p.m.). Official entry forms will be given out upon registration.

The tournament is comprised of a total of 15 pre-selected mandatory races from Suffolk Downs, Belmont, Keeneland and Oak Tree at Santa Anita. ALL contestants will be playing the same 15 races. The races will be announced on Friday, October 29.

Players begin with a mythical bankroll of $60, consisting of fifteen $2 win-place bets ($4), one for each of the designated races. This bankroll may not be divided in any other manner.

Selections for ALL races must be made before submitting the official entry form. Entry forms must be turned in prior to the start of the first race of the tournament. Once the first race has been run, no changes can be made to one's entry form.

The official order of finish will be determined by the total mythical bankroll that is earned based on the fifteen $2 win-place bets. There is NO CAP on prices. A tiebreaker will be included on the entry form and will be used to break ALL ties to determine the official order of finish.
